Kiki and Coco in Paris

I love, love, love the stunning children’s book Kiki and Coco in Paris by Nina Gruener featuring the beautiful photography of Stephanie Rausser and an amazing hand made doll by Jess Brown.

“When Kiki holds Coco’s hand, her feet skim the floor like a ballerina. It’s as if they were made for each other.”

The story is about a girl Kiki and her doll Coco who are travelling together to Paris in France. The tale of two friends is very gently and softly done, just as kids need nowadays, but there is a little bit of excitement, too.

During the French trip Coco is separated from Kiki. Oh my God, will she ever see her beloved girl again? Gasp. Grab the book and fall in love with it. You’ll see that its background is quite different from other books.

“A famous tower with stairs that seem to go on forever.
At the top. Kiki is quiet as she gazes out.
Coco looks up at the clouds as tiny drops start to fall.”

I’m totally, totally happy every time I see anything from this book. Are you not?
